VISION
Field School strives to build character in all students based on tile concept of respect: respect for self for family, for friends, and for the world in which we live. Our curriculum centers on the teaching of reading, which develops strong communication skills and furthers the acquisition of knowledge. These goals are based on the belief that young people who are equipped with sound character and strong reading skills will have more choices in life and will develop into responsible and productive citizens.
MISSION
We will align our efforts with the Chicago Reading and Math Initiatives to improve teaching and learning. To this end, all our staff development activities will center upon the components of these frameworks.

La Escuela Field se esmera en promover el buen carácter en todos los estudiantes hasado en ci concepto de respeto; respeto para si mismo, para Ia familia, para las amistades y para el rnundo en ci que vivimos. Nuestro curriculo se enfoca en ci aprendizaje de la lectura, Ia cual dcsarrolla abilidades superiors en la cornunicación y promueve Ia adquisiciOn continua del aprendizaje. Estos retos son hasados en nuestra creencia que los jóvenes quienes poseen un carácter sOlido y Ia ahilidad de leer tendrán más oportunidades, más opciones y se desarroilarán en personas y ciudadanos productivos y responsahies.
MISION
Uniremos nuestros esfuerzos con Ia iniciativa de Chicago Reading and Math para me la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. Para obtener este reto, todas las actividades de desarrollo de nuestro personal se enfocarán en los elementos de esta Iniciativa.
